If the reason for your visit is related to an automobile accident, Auto Insurance commonly covers the cost of massage/bodywork.

If your visit is work related, Workers' Compensation Insurance commonly covers the cost of massage and bodywork.

Unfortunately, in the State of Minnesota, most common Health Insurance policies will not cover the expense for therapeutic massage and bodywork. (Only Florida and Washington state routinely allow massage therapists to bill health insurance).

However, certain types of insurance policies may cover the cost of therapeutic massage and bodywork with a doctor's prescription. We recommend that you check with your insurance provider to see if your policy covers therapeutic massage and bodywork.

 Therapeutic massage and bodywork services do qualify for reimbursement by most Flex Plans and Health Savings Accounts (HSA). We recommend that you check with your insurance provider regarding qualifying services under your Flex Plan or HSA.
